Cannes selections announced...

The movies to be presented at the Cannes Film Festival were announced today. I've got a lot of work to do trying to decide which ones I want to see! Obviously, the big ones - The DaVinci Code and X-Men 3 - but there are some others I'm already interested in. Namely Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette and Southland Tales by Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko). Also, Volver, Fast Food Nation, Babel, Shortbus, and Boffo (I didn't forget the link...I just couldn't find one!). I still haven't decided if I'm ready to see a 9/11 movie, so United 93 is up in the air for me. The others I'll have to research. Of course, I'll see as many as I can, but I'd like to go with some sort of plan and work from there!

oooh, I'm looking forward to Fast Food Nation. Maybe I'll quit McDonalds again like I did after Supersize Me (only to go back on four months late :) )
